Data centers

Electrical & trade support for the North Texas build-out.

Dallas–Fort Worth is now the largest data center market in the world, and it is still growing faster than it can deliver. Every campus carries a large volume of ordinary commercial trade work alongside the critical systems. That is the work we do.

What is actually happening here

Texas overtook Virginia as the largest data center market on the planet, and Dallas–Fort Worth took the number one spot in Cushman & Wakefield's 2026 global market comparison. JLL puts existing DFW capacity at roughly 4,587 megawatts, with completed and under-construction activity set to double the market by the end of 2026 — and the space is being leased before it is finished, with large shares of under-construction capacity already preleased. Vacancy is at a historic low because demand keeps outrunning delivery. For anyone in the trades in North Texas, this is the single largest thing happening to commercial property right now.

02

Where a commercial trades contractor fits

A data center campus is not only white space. It is offices and admin areas, NOC and security rooms, break rooms and restrooms, warehouse and storage buildings, guard houses, exterior and site lighting, and the general power that serves every bit of it. That work is substantial, it is on the same schedule as everything else, and it competes for attention with the critical systems that actually drive the delivery date. Handing it to a contractor who does exactly this kind of work — rather than pulling specialist crews off the systems — is usually the faster and cheaper answer.

03

Electrical is the lead trade

Most of what we are asked for on and around these sites is electrical: circuits and dedicated power for equipment, panel and capacity work, lighting installs and LED retrofits across large floor areas, device and data rough-in through support spaces, exterior and site lighting, and the methodical troubleshooting that intermittent faults require. It is the same discipline we bring to any commercial property — diagnose properly, terminate properly, and leave power you can trust — applied at the scale these sites operate at. More on our electrical work.

04

The spillover is the bigger opportunity

A campus does not arrive alone. It brings operators, vendors, suppliers and construction crews, and they fill office suites, retail space, industrial buildings and rental units for miles around. All of that property needs finish-out before anyone moves in and maintenance once they have. For most owners and managers in North Texas, the data center build-out will reach them as a sharp increase in ordinary commercial demand long before it reaches them as a campus next door — the same pattern the semiconductor build-out produced in Grayson County.

Straight talk about scope

We will tell you plainly what is ours and what is not. Support spaces, general power, lighting, panels and circuits, ancillary buildings and site work — yes. Mission-critical white-space systems, medium-voltage switchgear, UPS and PDU work and generator commissioning are a specialist discipline with their own credentials, and pretending otherwise would waste your time at prequalification. Send us the scope and you will get a straight answer on the first call.

FAQ

Data center questions we get asked

Do you work on mission-critical white-space systems?

Our work sits in the support and ancillary scope rather than mission-critical white space — general power, lighting, support-space fit-out, site lighting, panels and circuits. Medium-voltage switchgear, UPS and PDU systems, busway and generator commissioning are a specialist discipline with its own credentials, and we would rather tell you that up front than fail a prequalification later. Send us the scope and we will tell you plainly whether it is ours.

What do you actually do on a data center campus?

The parts of a campus that are ordinary commercial construction: offices and admin areas, NOC and security rooms, break rooms and restrooms, warehouse and storage buildings, exterior and site lighting, and the general power that serves all of it. Every campus has a substantial amount of this work, and it competes for attention with the critical systems — which is exactly why it gets handed to a contractor who specialises in it.

Can you support contractors already working on a campus?

Yes, and it is often the cleanest arrangement. General contractors and electrical contractors running critical scope frequently need the support-space and finish work taken off their plate so their crews stay on the systems that drive the schedule. We can work as that second tier.

Do you handle the commercial property around the campuses?

Yes, and honestly this is the larger opportunity for most property owners. A campus brings staff, vendors, suppliers and contractors into an area, and they fill offices, retail suites, industrial space and rental units nearby. That property needs finish-out, make-ready and ongoing maintenance — which is our core business across all five trades.

Which areas do you cover for this work?

All four counties we serve: Collin, Dallas, Tarrant and Grayson. That footprint covers most of the North Texas build-out, including the Fort Worth and Alliance corridor activity on the western side.

How quickly can you respond?

Planned and scheduled work is where we are strongest — fit-outs against a date, punch lists with a deadline, and standing maintenance lists. Tell us the date something has to be ready when you request the quote and it gets scheduled against that date.
